Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA): Approximate driving time is 10 minutes and distance is 5 miles (8 km.) Driving directions from Queen Beatrix International Airport: Exit the airport and turn left onto the main road that runs along the coastline. Follow signs to Oranjestad and continue west past the city; follow signs for the low-rise hotel area. Turn left into the low-rise hotel area. Hotel is across the road from the Divi Dutch Village. Getting there: There is no shuttle service from this airport so taxis are the best way to arrive. Fares are in the $16–$25 USD range. Rental cars are available online for more than $36 USD. Arubus public buses run from across the road from the airport to the main terminal in the Oranjestad dock area where a transfer onto Bus #10 or #10A takes passengers to the hotel area. Fare is less than $5 USD. Fees are subject to change without notice. Getting around: Guests can walk to neighboring restaurants and the evening-only Alhambra Bazaar for tourist stalls, but apart from hotel facilities, this district offers little choice in the way of shopping so visitors head to the downtown stores. Buses run from next to the hotel into downtown for fares of less than $5 USD; taxis are $5–$15 USD. Bicycles can be rented for $16–$25 USD a day and mopeds for more than $36 USD a day. Fees subject to change without notice. Because main roads are well-maintained and well-posted, driving (right-hand side) is a popular option.

This resort offers 153 suites in two five-story buildings. The suites vary in configuration, and the type of room is confirmed upon arrival for each guest. Guests may stay in comfortable, well-furnished studios or one-bedroom suites. Both offer fully equipped kitchens, living areas with sofa beds, and private patios or balconies with garden or ocean views. Decor includes rich woods, rattan chairs, and tile floors with area rugs. All suites have air conditioning, ceiling fans, cable TV, and in-room safes. Some rooms have spa tubs and VCRs.

The Divi Village Resort is located across from the soft sands of Druif Beach in an area of low-rise resorts. Alhambra Casino, with 9,000 square feet of gaming action, is adjacent. Two freshwater pools and a tennis court are on site. Water sports can be arranged in front of the Tamarijn Aruba Beach Resort and Divi Aruba Beach Resort, two sister properties that sit in front of Divi Village. Duty-free shopping is a top attraction in Oranjestad, the bustling capital half a mile from the resort.

Divi Village Resort offers two freshwater pools and a lighted tennis court. The resort sits across from the soft sands and clear, placid waters Druif Beach. Snorkeling, diving, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, and other aquatic adventures can be arranged at Divi Water Sports near Tamarijn Aruba Beach Resort and Divi Aruba Beach Resort, two sister properties in front of Divi Village. Bicycle rentals are also available. Scheduled activities include bingo, board games, water aerobics, and golf tournaments. Deep-sea fishing charters are available in Oranjestad. The picture-perfect Tierra del Sol Golf Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., is about 15 miles north of the resort.
